As a gringo, I really appreciate the little notes about Brazil's history, famous figures, and language included with the English subtitles. Not only do I get to learn a few things, but it makes the show much more immersive! i'm not going to lie the saint looked so good right at 23:22, like omg his face card is so holy when his bowl cut isn't covering all of his head. But also that subtle acting is chefs kiss. His face kind of dropped so subtly when the father asked if he has something to confess, like this is a soap opera but the acting is eating.
