I understand both sides, how betrayed Aramel feels and I also understand how Gabriella wants her kid to be fortunate , but ultimately Aramel should not have slapped her like she dodged a bullet.
honestly its such a shame what aramel turned into since the beggining of the series but gabriela is still such a bitch i dont blame him for the reaction
"Idrc if he got girls for tonico he's a good man" WHAT THE FUCK?? Bruh this mentality is exactly why Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher wrote that defense letter for that one rapist mf from that 70s show. Aramel literally assisted a man in raping young (as in teenager) virgin girls. Even if Tonico provides for them financially afterwards, it does not erase the fact that he quite literally raped them. At least in Gabriela's case she CHOSE to be with tonico, but the other girls didn't. Aramal brought them to the lion's den with no guilt or hesitation
nah bro she deserved that slap because why tf would you randomly want to have a baby with a rapist just to be another side chick out of 1000 girl wasnt thinking straight she deserved another slap smh
No one "deserves" a slap/to be harmed in their relationship because they want to break up, regardless of the reason. Aramel says he love her, but is love hitting/slapping a partner? It was obviously worth it for her. She literally gave her explanation the previous episode; she was poor and had very few options and opportunities to leave that situation. With Aramel, sure she might be in love, but she would continue to struggle and face hardship, especially given the fact that neither she nor Aramel had jobs anymore (remember he was TRAFFICKING GIRLS BTW). They were both only able to get by in that rundown house with the help of Roberto, AND he couldn't even show his face in Belo Horizante out of fear that he would be tracked down by Tonico. I don't understand how anyone is watching this and rooting for Aramel.
He had a similar choice to Gabriella's earlier in the show; find honest work that wouldn't pay well or take a shady job (shady is an understatement because, AGAIN, he was helping to PIMP AND RAPE girls!!!!!!) that would give him immediate comfort. He chose the worse option, and he's living the consequences of working for Tonico. Regardless of whether or not he met Gabriella, that would have been his fault because, as we've seen before, you can't just stop working for, or say no to someone like Tonico.
Here, Gabriella faced a similar choice, except neither of her options actively harmed anyone or put anyone in a position to be hurt. She made the choice that would leave her more comfortable, even if it meant sleeping with Tonico, once, to get it. That was her choice, and to be honest, it made more sense than Aramel's decision because she was being pragmatic while he was still deluding himself that he could have his cake and eat it too (let's be real, if Roberto/Hilda didn't have their connection, he'd be screwed). I'm personally glad that she left him and he faced at least some consequences (not enough) for deceiving those girls.
Anyone feeling bad for Aramel AND angry at Gabriella clearly believes in a double standard because Aramel has spent the entire show being selfish and awful, while Gabriella has made a decision that will not only benefit her, but secure the life of her future child. If karma were real, Aramel would have been run over by a car by now.
(had to vent because the rape/pimp/abuse sympathizers in these comments are VERY weird)
You could sense that slap a mile away. They’re alone in the woods and she says the most heinous thing out of nowhere. It’s not okay to slap someone, but when you’re passionate and betrayed it happens. They’re both horrible characters and they both deserve whatever horrendous thing happens to them. Neither of them are victims.
Now I think whole purpose of this plot was to actually make Aramel disappointed in his life choices so therefore he would get help from Hilda to move to Hollywood faster than he would on his own being poor in the woods with Gabriela by his side. And Gabriela would have money and Tonico, so everyone is happy at the end, I guess just...😅
are people on here insane??? just because she did something wrong doesn't mean she deserves a slap. and just because aramel is hot doesn't mean it gives him right to slap her. maybe it’s 1960, but physical violence shouldn’t be supported
she deserved that slap. aramel risked his life to not turn her in to tonico mendes and suddenly SHE wants to have kids with tonico?? she atleast deserved a slap to the face
I can't believe Gabriela really left all that just for that gross trafficker who already has like hundreds of kids with different women, what makes her think her baby will be any special?? 🤮
It was a wise choice. Tonico and Aramel are the same, his looks will eventually fade and they'd still be poor. She jumped from a criminal who'd leave her poorer and in constant danger than she already was to a criminal who'd at least give her and her child enough money to fulfill their dreams and keep them safe. Aramel only has himself to blame, if he had an honest job he could've courted her with absolutely no fear of Tonico
Not gonna lie but Gabriela ate. I thought it was too good to be true for Aramel's chance at true love with someone who wasn't materialistic and it was. Karma for real
Fr girl woke up and realized she needed to do something with their life because she and Aramel were not going anywhere. Like he has no realistic way of getting to Hollywood and there’s a chance he just won’t make it. I like that she realized that following him around like some puppy wasn’t gonna get her anywhere and could ruin her life
How did she eat? If she left a man that was husband and father material willing to leave his dream to be with her and start a new life for a pedo because she wants his baby and receive money…poor kid.
Aramel was a pimp who trafficked teenage girls, that is not husband or father material. At least Gabriella is making a personal choice to go to Tonico unlike the other girls Aramel brought to him. This is 100% karma even if the show doesn't treat it like it is.
YESS. I wish they would have build up to this more but she was so real for what she said. Aramel also deserves this 100%. When Tónico presented Aramel with an opportunity to make his life better he took it. Gabriela is just doing the same 👏👏
Sorry not sorry, but Aramel deserves this happening to him. I wish we could’ve seen more in how Gabriela started changing her mind about her life but it’s obvious it developed over time and the cold realization hit her that this is it. This is it for her. Also, I would be fed up with Aramel too because he keeps postponing his life until he makes it to Hollywood and what if he never makes it there? Is he going to be 40 years old still delusional about making it to Hollywood while working shitty jobs to get by and dragging Gabriela down in his life of unfulfilled dreams? Gabriela is doing what she needs to do especially as a woman of her time. Aramel needs to get freaking real about his life + did he really think he’d have a beautiful love story after treating women like disposable objects?
I totally agree. I think her deciding to go to Tónico would have been more well received if they had actually shown her changing her mind. I do like that they’re actually doing something with her and having her face reality. Her being a naive girl who only cares about love and just accepts Aramel when she finds out he’s a sex trafficker without question rubbed me the wrong way. I am glad they gave her depth Im just disappointed I didn’t see her disillusionment with her life get build up. I also agree that Aramel deserved this like yeah he’s handsome but he did a lot of fucked up things.
Idkkk I’m not really for aramel since he was trafficking girls but Gabriela’s kinda wrong for that too like why would you want your child to have a pedo dad 🫤
Same with me, neither of them is right. All these girls defending her in comments, ffs, but at the same time there is no wonder, when they are coming from world of TikTok which highly enablishes gold-digging standards for all young girls.
True, only thing Gabriela did good is that she said that they are both the same, honestly that makes so much sense, because at the end none of them has standards in life whatsoever.
fr! They sayn she “ate” but she just went from one sh*t to another. Both are sh*t. Get that dough girl, but think about the politics of the harem. You ain’t gonna get a dime when Tonico departs.
He's a good friend but not a good lover. also i like his platonic relationship with Hilda, like they got each others back, but not all the time because he does that for a living. And i almost forgot him and man killer had a one night stand before HAHAHAHAHAHA like it's so funny when man killer avoid him like a plague because his a communist
He was all right at the beginning, and then he broke up with Rosa for no reason, he supported Aramel after all he had done, he even said in this episode "I really like Aramel". I found it confusing when he came back to Be, they had like 3 minutes screen time together, he also treated her rather badly.
True, like how the hell people in comments think Tonico the pedophile is any kind of better person than Aramel?! At least the other one is young and handsome, lmao.
Neither is okay?? But thinking that Aramel is the "better option" because he's younger and more handsome is horrendous because he's a literal sex trafficker with abusive tendencies
Yall must hate women winning. Gabriela did what she had to do just like the sex workers from the red district. Sprinkle Sprinkle. On a serious note I don't feel sad for Aramel, he willing became a trafficker for Tonicio. Gabriella was on the run from him and didn't want to be in exile because of Aramel actions who put her in harms way. In a way she is reclaiming her power just as Hilda is reclaiming her power (sex). Gabby options where limited and she made her choice. I think a lot of people are condition to see women as a safe place for men's action and should always be forgiving. She did say she loved him but she has dreams and Aramel only cared about his dreams of Hollywood and expected her to accept his dreams as her own. Now I must ask did he even see her as her own person are part of his fantasy?
how is grabiela winning?? mind you this was set in the 50s and having a child outside marriage was seen as inmoral. is being rejects by society in that hurmful way winning to you? unless like hilda (who literal has to runway or married the guy) she has the option to work in her last job and not sell herself to tonico. However she choose to go with him, even tho he is the most repulsive man ever. Im not saying she should have stayed with aramel, but what she did was so disappointing. enough of this dumb liberal feminism
I add the liberal feminism since is usually the stand point where people think that "reclaiming her power" involves being a sex worker or being overly sexualised when is not, and is usually only harmful to women. Women literally gain nothing from being sexualised by men. Sorry if it came out too rude.
agreed 💀 the way she switched so fast baffled me even if they did show faint hints i still would’ve preferred more scenes to make that storyline better. still love this show tho, can’t wait for ep 29 🙏🏾
How are some people so mad at Gabriela for her decision when she’s from a poor economic background but glorify Hilda who is a rich privileged girl who willingly became a sex worker?
I think it’s the fact that Gabriela willingly wants to have a child with a sex offender just because he’s rich. Hilda is providing for herself and isn’t having children with predators.
Hilda is just barely 18, all of the men she sleeps with are probably pedophiles and wouldn't care if she was younger. Gabriella and Hilda are doing very similar things and not harming anyone except Aramel the pimp so idc
Lol, MC is just too happy that he dodged the bullet (his words totally), because he thinks now that Gabriela is nasty and would do the same to him. So now he does not have problem helping Aramel, because in his eyes he received bad love he wanted to have when was all delusional about Gabriela.
Gabriela is literally Teresa of the 60’s, I wouldn’t have chosen the route to have a child with a pedophile rapist but ig that’s one way to get money 💀💀
i and i think many appreciate the facts and info on what they are talking about , thank you for taking your time to translate all these episodes. Im a little sad it’s coming at an end but that’s how many things are 💋‼️
Possible the story with Gabriella is written to subconsciously make women think that it is better to go with a bad old ugly guy if he is rich, than a kind loving handsome man.
Yes! We can not forget that Aramel was complicit and morally culpable for the trafficking of NUMEROUS women and on top that his relationship with Gabriela began under false pretenses
tbh im on aramels sides he literally risked his life for her??? he was genuinely in love with her and she just threw it all away she basically killed him i would slap her too tbh hes risked everythingggg 💔
was he really in love with her? because the moment she said he looked like a Hollywood actor he "fell" in love. I don't think there was any love to begin with from both sides.
I'm enjoying this TV show way more than I expected. It's so funny to see so many actors from O Clone here as well. I can't look at Tonico without seeing Sidi Ali.
Gabriela and Aramel's relationship trajectory was inevitable, just happened in a dramatically reduced amount of time.if it had happened over a longer period of time it would have made more sense how it all played out. Gabriela was poor and hated her boring existence... she fell in love with MC on the radio to begin with bc she was trying to escape. She realized that Aramel was all talk and no action, babbling about going to Hollywood but making no actual steps to get there. Their lives were going to be boring and poor, exactly what Gabriela was trying to escape. Her speech about having a daughter who would have all the things she didn't have showed she had actual life goals that surpassed Aramels. Now he'll probably make it to Hollywood just to spite her. Otherwise he'd have stayed still forever!
not like the hollywood guy was any better. if tonico was epstein then aramal was maxwell. hes a human trafficker. at least she's going to have a comfortable life now. i dont agree with her decision morally, but practially, i get the reasoning
Alll this bout Gabriella but we won’t acknowledge that dindin is kinda sorta out of the closet??? Like he didn’t confirm but it’s like the most obvious thing ever and I love that for him lol and the new priest was so accepting of his questions and very understanding
Gabriella at the end 😂😂😂😂 she said 😎💃🏽😜 sad that she left Aramel but that so relatable. I think often times as girls, we can day dream a lot about love and the perfect Prince Charming.. you can be really delulu when you don’t have any own passions/dreams of your own so your whole world revolves around a man making your life better
He trafficked girls He stole MC's girl He flaunted his richness to Roberto, his true friend He gave up in on his dream really easily to be with Gabriela He hit Grabriela The pretty privilege doesnt cut him off, for being such a selfish jerk
dejando a un lado lo de Gabriela, la respuesta del padre Geraldo fue demasiado buena, Dios no tiene prejuicios, me encanta como se iluminaron los ojitos de Didin 🥹🥹
This episode is so interesting, it made me understand the message that the series is trying to convey throughout the series.
Throughout the series we are confronted with characters going to one extreme or another, either they are too realistic/pessimistic, Hilda's parents telling her to choose security over love, married couples who force themselves to stay together and not to divorce, Aramel and his vision of the world at the beginning very materialistic similar to Gabriella's vision in this episode.
Or either they are too idealistic/fantasy. Hilda who hopes after an impossible love hoping to find Prince Charming, the obvious parallel with Cinderella, the priest and mother of Malthus who places this dream on him. This fantasy of a perfect and irreproachable saint far from reality. Aramel in this episode who believes in this dream of unconditional love and this person who will never abandon her no matter what, having grown up without parents his attachment becomes more understanding (this character is so well written). Roberto's worldview is very idealistic but as Aramel says so so well, the world does not work like that. Gabriella dreams of true love, ready to accept the hand of anyone, even strangers, falling in love with a voice on the radio without really knowing him.
Although in this episode we can think that Gabriella is right and Aramal wrong or even the opposite, I don't think that's the message the series is trying to convey, the series is not for either of them. They are both wrong. Gabriella by choosing to prioritize materialization above all, deciding to have children with this man out of interest becomes here like Aramel at the beginning of the story meaning that Aramel's initial vision was right and that his only mistake was to fall in love? I don't think that's what the series is trying to make us understand, on the contrary I think the answer is in on the contrary l think the answer is in the middle ground, if Aramel had a stable situation, their relationship might have been able to survive, the series does not condemn love or the desire for financial security, it simply considers that both are necessary, and that the extreme of one or the other is just as harmful. not to remain a child clinging to dreams, to a fantasy far from reality, but not to end up an adult crushed by the reality of this world to the point of losing one's humanity. not an angel, a saint but not a demon either, simply fallible and imperfect humans.

DeleteFelt the same after the slap. I was like oh hell no Aramel goodbye
DeleteHow do you guys sop conveniently forgot about the fact he was literally a pimp, mf got his karma, should’ve been prisoned ideally along with tonico.

ReplyDeleteGabriela need that slap, such a gold digger

Deletehow is grabiela winning?? mind you this was set in the 50s and having a child outside marriage was seen as inmoral. is being rejects by society in that hurmful way winning to you? unless like hilda (who literal has to runway or married the guy) she has the option to work in her last job and not sell herself to tonico. However she choose to go with him, even tho he is the most repulsive man ever. Im not saying she should have stayed with aramel, but what she did was so disappointing. enough of this dumb liberal feminism
Delete^^^^
Delete^^ agree with what you said, but adding "liberal feminism" at the end wasn't necessary
DeleteI add the liberal feminism since is usually the stand point where people think that "reclaiming her power" involves being a sex worker or being overly sexualised when is not, and is usually only harmful to women. Women literally gain nothing from being sexualised by men. Sorry if it came out too rude.
DeleteGabriela’s whole character arc just feels kind of sexist to me tbh
ReplyDeleteagreed 💀 the way she switched so fast baffled me even if they did show faint hints i still would’ve preferred more scenes to make that storyline better. still love this show tho, can’t wait for ep 29 🙏🏾
DeleteBro I’m so into this I’m gonna miss it when it ends
ReplyDeleteSame, I am so sad that there are only 4 episodes left. I am so obsessed and invested in this whole plot.
DeleteGabriela kinda ate idk
ReplyDeleteI wonder if MC and Gabriela will ever have a scene together again. I really want to see that interaction happen
ReplyDeleteTysm for translating these I love this show sm!! Can’t wait for the next episode 💗
ReplyDeleteHow are some people so mad at Gabriela for her decision when she’s from a poor economic background but glorify Hilda who is a rich privileged girl who willingly became a sex worker?
ReplyDeleteI think it’s the fact that Gabriela willingly wants to have a child with a sex offender just because he’s rich. Hilda is providing for herself and isn’t having children with predators.
DeleteSex work is still a job, I find disgusting how Gabriela ended up with tonico even though she knows what he does
DeleteHilda is just barely 18, all of the men she sleeps with are probably pedophiles and wouldn't care if she was younger. Gabriella and Hilda are doing very similar things and not harming anyone except Aramel the pimp so idc
DeleteAramel is so lucky MC didn’t beat his ass, he even offered to help him go to Hollywood like what
ReplyDeleteLol, MC is just too happy that he dodged the bullet (his words totally), because he thinks now that Gabriela is nasty and would do the same to him. So now he does not have problem helping Aramel, because in his eyes he received bad love he wanted to have when was all delusional about Gabriela.
DeleteHappy belated birthday translator!Hope you had a good one!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait the next episode
ReplyDeleteYeah but did yall saw Dr Tonico's platforms at 25:15 ? HUGE SLAY
ReplyDeleteThe way I need an entire series dedicated to Thin Waist and Dindin.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU FOR TRANSLATING!
ReplyDeleteGabriela nasty af
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeletethe new priest is soo fine
Yesss
DeleteHappy Birthday Girl!
ReplyDeleteGabriela is literally Teresa of the 60’s, I wouldn’t have chosen the route to have a child with a pedophile rapist but ig that’s one way to get money 💀💀
ReplyDeletei and i think many appreciate the facts and info on what they are talking about , thank you for taking your time to translate all these episodes. Im a little sad it’s coming at an end but that’s how many things are 💋‼️
ReplyDeletePossible the story with Gabriella is written to subconsciously make women think that it is better to go with a bad old ugly guy if he is rich, than a kind loving handsome man.
ReplyDeleteAramel was literally helping Tonico rape women
DeleteYes! We can not forget that Aramel was complicit and morally culpable for the trafficking of NUMEROUS women and on top that his relationship with Gabriela began under false pretenses
DeleteThat last scene with Roberto and Hilda was so sweet. When he kissed her cheek, so sweet.
ReplyDeletefr, i live for their friendship!
Deletewth gabriela ure not all that
ReplyDeletetbh im on aramels sides he literally risked his life for her??? he was genuinely in love with her and she just threw it all away she basically killed him i would slap her too tbh hes risked everythingggg 💔
ReplyDeletedomestic violence is unacceptable.
Deletewas he really in love with her? because the moment she said he looked like a Hollywood actor he "fell" in love. I don't think there was any love to begin with from both sides.
DeleteI'm enjoying this TV show way more than I expected. It's so funny to see so many actors from O Clone here as well. I can't look at Tonico without seeing Sidi Ali.
ReplyDeleteRoberto is such a nice friend but redflag in relationships
ReplyDeleteFrr
DeleteGabriela and Aramel's relationship trajectory was inevitable, just happened in a dramatically reduced amount of time.if it had happened over a longer period of time it would have made more sense how it all played out.
ReplyDeleteI know Roberto is a cheater, but I love how he cares for his friends
ReplyDeleteIdk how some of yall are defending Gabriela idc if she was poor but having a child with tonico knowing that he's a predator it's a big no for me
ReplyDeletenot like the hollywood guy was any better. if tonico was epstein then aramal was maxwell. hes a human trafficker. at least she's going to have a comfortable life now. i dont agree with her decision morally, but practially, i get the reasoning
DeleteThey kinda ruined Gabriela’s character 😕
ReplyDeleteAlso I thought when Hilda said she was in love with someone, the two old guys would have a breakdown or something but they were just chill wit it 😭
ReplyDeleteexpcted them both to be massive red flags, but they turned up green instead!
DeleteI respect the Gabriellla M hustle tbh
ReplyDeleteI knew aramel and Gabriela had a catch
ReplyDeletefather geraldo my beloved !!!
ReplyDeleteAramel had it coming, idgaf
ReplyDeleteAlll this bout Gabriella but we won’t acknowledge that dindin is kinda sorta out of the closet??? Like he didn’t confirm but it’s like the most obvious thing ever and I love that for him lol and the new priest was so accepting of his questions and very understanding
ReplyDeletethe new priest kinda slays
ReplyDeleteI love how the two colonels ended up bonding
ReplyDeletelooking for this comment lmaooo sMEE
DeleteGabriella at the end 😂😂😂😂 she said 😎💃🏽😜 sad that she left Aramel but that so relatable. I think often times as girls, we can day dream a lot about love and the perfect Prince Charming.. you can be really delulu when you don’t have any own passions/dreams of your own so your whole world revolves around a man making your life better
ReplyDeleteAramel is a bad character:
ReplyDeleteHe trafficked girls
He stole MC's girl
He flaunted his richness to Roberto, his true friend
He gave up in on his dream really easily to be with Gabriela
He hit Grabriela
The pretty privilege doesnt cut him off, for being such a selfish jerk
aw i love dindin's whole journey and how the new priest is a lot more progressive
ReplyDeletetbh gabriela does not deserve the hate. Girl just had to what she could to get the bag, although it was 'morally wrong'..I dont see the big deal 🤷♀️
ReplyDeleteso annoyed by malthus's mom tbh
ReplyDeleteyea i did that lmao
ReplyDeleteThis episode is so interesting, it made me understand the message that the series is trying to convey throughout the series.
ReplyDeleteThroughout the series we are confronted with characters going to one extreme or another, either they are too realistic/pessimistic, Hilda's parents telling her to choose security over love, married couples who force themselves to stay together and not to divorce, Aramel and his vision of the world at the beginning very materialistic similar to Gabriella's vision in this episode.
I don't think that's what the series is trying to make us understand, on the contrary I think the answer is in on the contrary l think the answer is in the middle ground, if Aramel had a stable situation, their relationship might have been able to survive, the series does not condemn love or the desire for financial security, it simply considers that both are necessary, and that the extreme of one or the other is just as harmful. not to remain a child clinging to dreams, to a fantasy far from reality, but not to end up an adult crushed by the reality of this world to the point of losing one's humanity. not an angel, a saint but not a demon either, simply fallible and imperfect humans.
karma is a bitch aramel
